MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 14, 1998 <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 98-1-2 -APPOINTING THE FOLLOWING <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS FOR 1998: <br />PRESIDENT - MICHAEL I. FAHEY <br />VICE PRESIDENT - BEVERLY SCALZE <br />TREASURER - STEVE MORELAN <br />SECRETf1RY- JOEI. HANSON <br />ASSISTANT TREASURER - JOEL HANSON <br />DIRECTOR - JIM LAVALL~ <br />DIRECTOR - 8073 PEDERSEN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Morelan, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Pedersen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI.UTIONNO. 98-1-3 -APPROVING THE 1998 ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY73UDGET AS FOLLOW.S: <br />REVENUE $ p <br />EXPENDITURES $ 0 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (4) Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The EDA meeting was adjow•ned and the regular City Council meeting <br />was reconvened. <br />RENEWAL Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the renewal of <br />OF PAWN Pawn Brokers License and Second Hand Goods Dealers License as <br />BROKERS requested by Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry at 2750 Rice Street. It was <br />LICENSE - noted that Sheriffl s Department background checks are satisfactory, <br />LINCOLN and the Sheriffls Department has indicated that they have no objection <br />PAWN & to the renewal of this license. <br />JEW ELRY <br /> There was no one fi~om the general public present wishing to comment on <br /> this matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public hearin~ was <br />closed. <br />
