UTION NO. 9N-1-18 - REMOVING THE VALI,EYPAVING <br />PAYREQUEST FROM THE CON,4ENT AGENDA DUE TO7.ACK <br />OF A REPORT FROM THE CITY ENC,INEER <br />The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Morelan, Pedersen, LaVa(le, Fahey. <br />Nays(0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the followin~ resolution and moved its adoption <br />RESOI, UTION NO. 98-I-19 - APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />ACENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOl LOWING: <br />''~APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH UNUM FOR LONG- <br />TERM DISA73II.ITY INSURANCE CITY ~MPLOYEES AND <br />AUTHORlZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TD <br />EXECUTE TffiSAGREEMENT ON73EHALF OF THE CITY; <br />*APPROVAL OF A REVISED PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR 56 <br />WEST LITTI.E CANAnA ROAD AS RECOMMENDED I3Y THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RYAN The City Attorney pointed out that there is the possibility of liquidated <br />CONTRACTING damages being imposed on the Arcade Street improvement. He further <br />PE11' reported that earlier communication with the attorney representing Ryan <br />REQUEST Contracting raised the possibility of litigation should the City impose <br />FOR liquidated damages.
