MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
FEBRUARY 25, 1998
at the Old Fire Hall has been set at 75, although this capacity could be
increased to 142 with a CUP for off-premise parkin~. It was fiarther noted
that there may be some current uses of the site which have capacities over
75 persons. Therefore, in order to be legal(y conforming, a CUP should be
approved.
It was the consensus of the Council that the rental capacity for the Old Fire
Hall should remain at 75 persons. This is based on the Council's intent
that the rental usage is to accommodate small ~roups looking for this type
of space, and the Council's desire not to have the Old Fire Hall compete
with the rental hall located across the street. However, a CUP should be
processed to make the current uses, such as LCRA's softball-on-ice
tournament, legally conforming.
Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOI, UTION NO. 98-2-42 - A UTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO
COMMENCE THE PROCESS FOR A CONI)ITIONAI.
