MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINN~SOTA <br />TEBRUARY 25, 1998 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 25'~' day of February, <br />1998 in the Council Chambers ofthe City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor Mr. Michael I. Kathy Glanzer <br />RICE STREET/ The City Administrator reported that he has discussed the possible <br />LITTLE CANADA realignment ofLittle Canada Road with Kim Wise of Cinemark. Wise <br />ROAD has indicated that his first preference would be to move the road as close <br />REDEV~LOP- to the First Bank property as possible. The Administrator reported that he <br />MENT PROJECT informed Wise that the resulting curve in the road would be undesirable <br />and the alignment would result in less than efficient use of the land. <br />While Wise indicated that his preference would be to realign the road, he <br />would still be interested in a project if the road stayed where it is. <br />The Administrator reported that the Winter's do not want to sell their <br />property, which eliminates 1.73 acres from a potential redevelopment site <br />
