MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 25, 1998 <br />REJECTING 13ID PACKAGE #29, AS RECOMMENDED I3Y THE <br />ARCHITECT <br />The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Krumm reported that he will prepare the actual contracts for each of the <br />bid packages and forward them to the City Administrator. <br />CITY The City Administrator reported that requests for proposals for City <br />ENGIN~ER Engineering services were sent to 31 firms, and the City received 14 <br />SERVICGS proposals. Of those 14,1he Public Works Director and Administrator <br />conducted informal interviews of 12 firms. Based on the written proposals <br />as well as the informal interviews, the Administrator and Director <br />recommended that the Council conduct a formal interview of Howard R. <br />Green Company, John Oliver & Associates, and Short Elliott & <br />Hendrickson. Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator indicated that he will notify the other firms that <br />they had not been selected for an interview and thank them for their <br />proposals. <br />APPRAISAL The City Administrator reported that the owners of 2 West Little Canada <br />OF 2 WEST Road have indicated an interest in selling their property to the City. The <br />LITTLE Administrator pointed out that the asking price the owners have indicated <br />CANADA ROAD is somewhat higher than what the City has been paying for other <br />properties in that area. However, the property owners are aware that the <br />
