MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 14, 1998 The City Planner reported that approval of a CUP requires three affirmative votes of the Council. LaVa(le stated that he will support the Bally's request, but pointed out that the Councii must keep this case in mind when other businesses apply with similar requests. Fahey stated that that may be the appropriate time to take another look at the City Code. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOI LJTION NO. 98-10.240 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAI, USE PERMIT FOR PI.ANNED UNIT DEVEI,OPMENT SU73.IECT TO THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PI.ANNINC COMMI.SSION THAT THE .SQUARE FOOTAGE OF THE 13AI,LY'S SIGN I3E COUNTED AGAIN.ST THE TOTAI, SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR SIGNAGE WHEN OUTLOT A IS DEVELOPED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. Ayes (4) Scalze, Fahey, Pedersen, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. REVISION TO Mayor Fahey indicated that the owners of the Market Place Shopping THE MARKET Center have requested approval of their revised plat and issuance of deeds PLACE FINAL to allow the recording of a new mortgage by metes and bounds PLAT description. The Market Place Shoppin~; Center has indicated that the final plat of the property will be completed shortly thereafter.
