MiNUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER l4, 1998 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />CONVENE <br />EDA <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the foilowing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLDTION N0. 98-IO-242 -APPROVINC THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOI.I.OWlNC: <br />*AUTHORIZATION TO CERTIFY DELINQUENT UTII,ITY, <br />REFUSE, AND FAI,.SE AI.ARMACCOUNTS A.S RECOMMENDED <br />BY CITY STAFF; <br />*APPROVAL OF THE 1999 RECYLCING CRANT APPI,ICATION <br />AND A UTHORIZATION EXECUTION OF THE APPI.ICATION I3Y <br />CITYSTAFF; <br />*APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE NOVEMI3ER <br />CENERAL EI,ECTIONAS RECOMMENDED BY CITY.STAFF; <br />'~APPROVAL OF THE HISTORICAL .40CIETY PAY REQUEb'T AS <br />WEI.I. AS APPROVAI. OF THE REI,EASE OF RETAINAGE AS <br />RECOMMENDED 13Y THE ARCHITECT; <br />*APPROVAI, OF THE VOUCHERS <br />The fore~oing reso(ution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the foilowing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RES07, UTION NO. 98-10-243 - CONVENING A MEETING OF THE <br />ECONOMIC DEVE7.OPMENT AUTHORITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />MARKET The Economic Development Authority reviewed the Market Place <br />PLACE Shopping Center loan pay-off Pedersen asked if the loan was being <br />SHOPPING paid off early. <br />CENTER LOAN <br />PAY-OFF Mark Hotzler, owner of the Market Place Shoppin~ Center, replied that <br />the loan was due at the end of this year. The loan has been refinanced, <br />therefore, it is being paid off at this time. Hotzler indicated that he <br />appreciates the City help in providing the loan, which resutted in the <br />6 <br />
