MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 10, 1999 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Y2K ISSUES Council reviewed the staff's report dated March 10, 1999 regarding the <br />status of their efforts relative to Y2K issues. Staff recommended the <br />appointment ofElizabeth Mursko as the City's Y2K Administrator. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI UTION NO. 99-3-SS - APPOINTING ELIZAI3ETH MURSKO <br />AS THE CITY'.S Y2KADMINISTRATOR AND AUTHORIZING <br />STAFF TO TAKE THE APPROPRIATE STEPS TO DRAFT <br />POLICIES ADDR~SSING Y2K CONTINGENCY SO7. UTIONS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />OLD FIRE The Council reviewed City staff's recommendation relative to lowering <br />HALL - of insurance limits required for rentals of the Old Fire Hall when those <br />INSURANCE rentals involve the serving of alcohol. Council requested that the City <br />L[MITS Attorney research the effect this mi~ht have on the City and report at its <br />next meetin~;. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESO7, UTION NO. 99-3-56 - TA73LINC ACTION ON THE OLD <br />FIRE HALL INSURANCE I.IMITS MATTER PEND7NG A REPORT <br />FROM THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Morelan, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />FRA-DOR The City Attorney reviewed the proposed Development Agreement <br />RECYCLING dated March 5, 1999 relative to Fra-Dor Recycling and the issues that <br />have been identified so far. The Attorney noted that the development <br />agreement proposes that the interim use would expire upon termination or <br />sale of the property or 10 years after issuance of the interim use. The <br />agreement also clarifies that the use is only an interim use. Council <br />indicated its agreement with those provisions. <br />
