MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MARCH 10, 1999 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Morelan, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Y2K ISSUES Council reviewed the staff's report dated March 10, 1999 regarding the status of their efforts relative to Y2K issues. Staff recommended the appointment ofElizabeth Mursko as the City's Y2K Administrator. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOI UTION NO. 99-3-SS - APPOINTING ELIZAI3ETH MURSKO AS THE CITY'.S Y2KADMINISTRATOR AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO TAKE THE APPROPRIATE STEPS TO DRAFT POLICIES ADDR~SSING Y2K CONTINGENCY SO7. OLD FIRE The Council reviewed City staff's recommendation relative to lowering HALL - of insurance limits required for rentals of the Old Fire Hall when those INSURANCE rentals involve the serving of alcohol. Council requested that the City L[MITS Attorney research the effect this mi~ht have on the City and report at its next meetin~;. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESO7, UTION NO. 99-3-56 - TA73LINC ACTION ON THE OLD FIRE HALL INSURANCE I.IMITS MATTER PEND7NG A REPORT FROM THE CITY ATTORNEY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Morelan, Pedersen, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. FRA-DOR The City Attorney reviewed the proposed Development Agreement RECYCLING dated March 5, 1999 relative to Fra-Dor Recycling and the issues that have been identified so far. The Attorney noted that the development agreement proposes that the interim use would expire upon termination or sale of the property or 10 years after issuance of the interim use. The agreement also clarifies that the use is only an interim use. Council indicated its agreement with those provisions.
