MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 24, 1999 <br />WELCOME The Mayor and City Council welcomed Andrew Hall, a student at <br />TO ANDREW Roseville Area High School, to the Council meeting this evening. <br />HALL <br />PROPERTY Mayor Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the division of <br />DIVISION - a small section of railroad property and the combination of this parcel <br />3096 RICE - with the adjacent Kath Fuel Oil property located at 3096 Rice Street. It <br />KATH FUEL was noted that the Planning Commission has recommended approval of <br />OIL CO. the property division/combination subject to compliance with the City <br />Planner's recommendations as outlined in this report dated March 9, 1999. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI,UTION NO. 99-3-61- APPROVING THE PROPERTY <br />DIVISION/COMI3INATIONAS REQUESTED BYKATFI FUEI OII. <br />COMPANY LOCATED AT 3096 RICE STREET SUBJECT TO <br />COMPI,IANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATInN.S OF THE CITY <br />PLANNER AS O UTLINED IN HIS REPORT DATEI) MARCH 9, T 999 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, LaValle, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUBLIC Mayor Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the application for <br />HEARING - Conditional Use Permit to allow open and outdoor storage of towed <br />CUP FOR OPEN automobiles as an additional principle use on the property located at <br />AND OUTDOOR 3101 Country Drive. Fahey noted that additional information was <br />STORAE - received late today from the applicant, and there has not been adequate <br />3101 COUNTRY time for staff or the Council to review this information. Fahey also noted <br />DRIVE that the applicant is requesting that his CUP request be referred back to the <br /> Planning Commission for reconsideration. In order to do this, the <br /> applicant will need to request an additional 60 days time for the City to <br /> review his request. Fahey pointed out that the Planning Commission has <br /> recommended denial of the Conditional Use Permit. <br />Jerry Carle, owner of 3101 Country Drive, pointed out the code violations <br />that have been identified on this property, and indicated that issues related <br />to paving and signage will be addressed.
