MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 27, 1999 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />DEBT LEVY The City Administrator reported that the Debt Levy Reduction Committee <br />REDUCTION has requested a workshop with the Council so that they can present their <br />COMMITTEE- report. Once that workshop is held, the would plan to present their report <br />CALL FOR to the public utilizin~ the public hearing process. <br />W ORKSHOP <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the followin~ resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE.SOI. UTION NO. 99-4-102 - CAL7.ING FOR A WORKSHOP <br />ME~TING WITH THE DE73T I.EVY RED UCTION COMMITTEE <br />FOR TUESDAY, JUNE 8, 1999 AT TFIE CITY CENTER AT 6 P.M. <br />The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Y2K UPDATE The Code Enforcement Officer present the Council with an update on the <br />status ofthe City's efforts relating to Y2K readiness. <br />RYAN Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />INDUSTRIAL <br />PARK RESOI. UTION NO. 99-4-I03 - CAI.I.INCi A WORKSHOP FOR <br />WORKSHOP TDESDAY, MAY 11, I999 AT 6 P.M. TO DISCUSS CODE <br />ENFORCEMENT ISSUES WITHINRYANINDUSTRIAL PARK <br />The fore~oing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SUMP PUMP The City Administrator reported that in preparing information for a data <br />INSPECTION practices compliance request, he came across a State Statute which <br />PROGRAM requires that City's conduct a public hearing prior to the adoption of a <br />sump pump inspection program. Although neighborhood meetings were <br />held on this topic, a formal public hearing was not. Therefore it was the <br />Administrator's recommendation that a hearing be held on Tuesday, May <br />25°i <br />Mr. Moretan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />22 <br />
