Resolution declared adopted. <br />Fahey suggested that Mr. Thul meet with the City Planner to try and <br />determine if there are any options he could consider. <br />RECESS At this point in the meeting, 8:40 P.M., the Council took a brief recess. <br />The meetin~ was reconvened at 8:47 P.M. <br />TWIN LAKE Fahey noted the letter received fi•om the City of Vadnais Heights <br />PINES regarding the cost to indude Little Canada properties in their <br />ADDITION comprehensive water study. <br />Len Pratt, Pratt Homes, appeared before the Council to present their <br />proposal for a looped water main system which will address water service <br />concerns in the area of the Twin Lake Pines plat and adjacent properties. <br />Pratt indicated that water main is the only issue left to resolve with the <br />plat. Therefore, he would like to begin work on his project even though <br />the water main details have not yet been resolved. Pratt pointed out that <br />the worst case scenario would be that he would install a well to serve each <br />of the homes pendin~ resolution of the water main issue. He would also <br />install water main in the street so that these homes could be connected <br />when the issue is resolved. Pratt indicated that when a water main <br />improvement is proposed, he would then be deemed a willing petitioner in <br />the project. <br />Chuck Plowe, en~ineer for Pratt Homes, presented the Council with a <br />proposed water main loop system for the area. Plowe reported that this <br />proposai, along with a letter of request has been presented to the City of <br />Vadnais Heights. No response has been received to date. <br />Pedersen asked about the cost estimate received from Vadnais Heights. <br />The City Administrator reported that this estimate is for the cost of the <br />comprehensive water study for this portion of Little Canada which would <br />need to be served by Vadnais Heights water main. The Administrator <br />indicated that the Five Star Mobile Home Park may be included in this <br />area, therefore, the $2,700 cost estimate may need to be apportioned to <br />allow for the costs associated with the Five Star property.
