MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 1999 <br />tenant ofthe propeRy. <br />Scalze asked if it would be appropriate for the City to acquire the property <br />and rent it until such time as a redevelopment project is feasible. The City <br />Administrator pointed out that the property would have to be rented as a <br />business use since the residential use of the site has been discontinued for <br />over six months. <br />Fahey asked if a decision was necessary this evening on the purchase of <br />the Franklin Drywall property. The City Administrator reported that a <br />decision is not needed immediately; however, Franklin Drywall is very <br />interested in selling. <br />Scalze suggested that she would like a map of the area to see how this <br />property lies in relation to the Gagne property and others that would be <br />part of the redevelopment. <br />It was the consensus of the Council to continue discussion of this matter at <br />the next meeting. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />R ES OI, UTION NO. 9 9- 9- 2 4 7- A A70 UR NING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0).
