MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 22, 1999 <br />Mr. Wall appeared before the Council and indicated that he would comply <br />with the Zoning Administrator's recommendations. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Pedersen, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE.SOI, UTION NO. 99-9-249 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT FOR OPENAND OUTDOOR STORAGE OF <br />EQUIPMENT AS ANACCESSORY U.SE FOR 221, 223, 225 RYAN <br />DRIVE AS REQUESTED 73Y MR. ROI3ERT WAI.L SUI3.IECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR AS OUTLINED IN HER REPORT <br />DATED AUGUST 26, 1999 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONCEPT Mr. Gordie Howe, Masterpiece Homes, appeared before the Council <br />REVIEW - requesting concept review for a townhome development he is <br />TOWNHOME proposin~ at the northeast corner ofLittle Canada Road and Jackson <br />DEVELOPMENT- Street. <br />JACKSON/ <br />LITTLE CANADA Mayor Fahey noted that the Planning Commission has recommended <br />ROAD - approval of the concept of R-2 zoning for the property as well as <br />GORDIE HOWE indicated support for Bryan Street connectin~ from Jackson to Little <br /> Canada Road. The Planning Commission further indicated that the <br /> townhome plan should be reworked to eliminate the need for setback <br /> variances. <br />Howe indicated that the site consists of 6.72 acres, of which he wou(d be <br />dedicating .9 acres for a nei~hborhood park. Howe further reported that <br />the County is seeking six feet of additional right-of-way alon~ Little <br />Canada Road, and he would make that dedication. The right-of-way for <br />Little Canada Road is currently at 66 feet. The County would like 71 feet. <br />The City Administrator reported that the City's streetscape plan for Little <br />Canada Road indicates the need for the additional ri~;ht-of-way in order <br />
