MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 20,1999 <br />RYAN DRIVE Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the assessment for <br />SEWER the improvement of Ryan Drive from Country Drive west approximately <br />ASSESSMENT 1,000 feet including a segment of Ryan Drive to a point 150 feet north <br />with said segment located within the Country Drive right-of-way by <br />sanitary sewer line. <br />The City Engineer reviewed the assessment roll for the Ryan Drive sewer <br />assessment. He pointed out that the feasibility report estimate for this <br />improvement was $40,528.00. Estimated actual costs are $40,42532. <br />The Engineer also reviewed the payment options available to property <br />owners for this assessment. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this assessment. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />The City Administrator reported that he discussed over the telephone the <br />proposed assessment with the affected property owner, Frank Frattalone, <br />and he indicated no objection. <br />Mayor Fahey noted that the City has received no written objections to this <br />assessment. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESO] UTION NO. 99-10-194 - APPROVINC AND ADOPTING THE <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 95-O1, RYAN <br />DRI vE FROM COUNTRY DRI vE WEST APPROXIMATELY 1, 000 <br />FEET INCI, UDINC A SEC;MENT OF RYAN DRIVE TO A POINT <br />I50 FEET NORTH WITH SAID SEGMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE <br />COUNTRY DRIVE RIGHT-OF-W,9 Y BY SANTIARY SEWER LINE <br />WlTH ASSESSMENT TO I3E SPREAD OVER TEN YEARS AT AN <br />INTEREST RATE OF SEVEN PERCENT <br />The fore~oing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (3) Scalze, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0).
