MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 10, 1999 <br />RESOI. UTION NO. 99-11-230 - TA73LING ACTION ON THE NORTH <br />STAR ESTATES STORM SHEI.TER PI.AN STORM SHEI.TER PLAN <br />PENDINC THE OUTCOME OF A MEETING WITH THE <br />OWNERSHIPAND CITYSTAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RENEWAL Council reviewed the application for renewal of the bingo hall license for <br />OF BINGO the Little Canada Bingo Hall. They also reviewed tenant survey <br />HALL information which indicated the need for additional maintenance on the <br />LICENSE outside of the building as well as an adjustment of the timer for parking lot <br />lighting. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLiJTION NO. 99-II-231- APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF <br />I3ING0 HAI.I. I,ICENSE FOR THE LITTI,E CANADA 73ING0 HALL <br />FOR THE I.ICENSE PERIOD FE73RUARY I, 2000 THROUCH <br />JANUARY31, 2001 AND INSTRUCTING STAFF TO CONTACT THE <br />OWNER OF THE SHOPPING CENTER REI.ATIVE TO THE <br />MAINTENANCE IS.SUES DI.SCUSSED <br />The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution dedared adopted. <br />DEFERRED Elaine Zoch, 2945 Condit Street, reported that they received notice of a <br />ASSESSMENT - deferred assessment on this property. Zoch indicated that they has <br />MARCEL & assumed this assessment had been paid at the time they sold a portion of <br />ELAINE ZOCH their property to Larry Lee. Zoch reported that she contacted the title <br />company about the matter and was informed that they could find no record <br />of the division of their property. She then contacted their attorney, <br />discussed the matter, and he suggested that they contact the City and <br />propose a trade. Zoch indicated that they were willing to forego the fence <br />that was supposed to be constructed on their property in return for the City <br />deleting the assessment. <br />Fahey pointed out that both the fence and the assessment are issued <br />between the Zoch's and Larry Lee. <br />12 <br />
