MINUTES CITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER 10, 1999 Fahey instructed the City Administrator to draft the waiver document for the Zoch's signature. CONSENT Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: AGENDA RESOLUTION NO. 99-11-233 - APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOI.I.OWING: *APPROVAL OF THE ANIMAL CONTROl, CONTRACT AND ADTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTR.4CT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY *APPRO(~AL OF THE VOUCHERS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) LaValie, Scalze, Morelan, Fahey, Pedersen. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. SAFEASSURE Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: PROPOSAL RESOI.UTION NO. 99-11-234 - APPROVING THE SAFEA,S.SURE PROPOSAL AS RECOMMENDED 73Y THE CITY STAFF AND AUTHORIZING THE CITYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHAI.F OF THE CITY The fore~oing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (5) Scalze, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Morelan suggested that the proposal be discussed with the Fire Chief to determine if the Fire Department would like to participate in this program. The City Administrator indicated that he would do that and determine if there are any cost advantages to induding the Fire Department. COUNTRY The City Administrator presented modifications to the landscaping SIDE proposed on the west side of the Country Side Terrace Office Park. TERRACE The Administrator reported that the developer was proposing a 32-inch OFFICE retaining wall along the western edge of the property and due to PARK construction difficulties is now proposin~ a berm. The City Administrator recommended that before the City approve the chan~e that the proposal be discussed with the interested nei~hbors and their consent gained, that a demonstration plot be done so everyone has an idea of what this berm will 14
