MINUTES CITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER 22, 1999 It was noted if the B-I District is established, and the McCumber and Buetow properties are rezoned to B-I, the Comprehensive Plan should be amended to reflect these changes. FIRE RELIEF The Council reviewed the City Administrator's report dated November BENEFIT 19, 1999 regarding the Fire Relief Association's request for a benefit INCREASE level increase from $2,200 per year of service to $2,500. The Administrator noted that this increase will exceed the targeted range of the six-year funding plan that the City has with the Relief Association. Therefore, the City has the option to re-open discussions on this plan. The Administrator also noted that the increase does not require an increase in the City's current fundin~ level of $18,000 per year. He also noted that if the benefit level remained at $2,500 for 2001, no City contribution would be required. The City Administrator recommended that the increase be approved due to the strong financial position of the Relief Fund and also recommended that
