Morelan
suggested that the Administrator be encouraged to attend the annual City
Administrators' Conference.
The Administrator indicated that the City has an excellent staff as well as
an excellent City Council. He acknowledged that things are not always
done correctly, and voiced his appreciation to the Councii for backing up
staff and ~iving them the benefit of the doubt.
The Administrator agreed it would be good to sit down as a smaller group
and work on a two-year vision for the City. He noted that the Sheriff's group is beginning to
change somewhat and he is hoping for improvements in this area.
The Administrator indicated that he will continue with his best efforts, and
asked the Council to let him know of any concerns they might have.
Fahey suggested a bonus for the City Administrator for the extra efforts he
has provided over the past year. Fahey felt that Little Canada had one of
the most excellent administrators in the metro area. Fahey suggested a
bonus of $2,500, and indicated that he would bring this matter for Council
action at this evening's Council meeting.
There being no further business, the workshop was adjourned at 7:00 p.m
I.
