MINUTES CITY COUNCIL DECEMBER 15, 1999 REZONING Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the rezoning of City OF CITY property on Country Drive from Light-Industrial (I-1) to Public (P) PROPERTY as well as an Interim Use Permit to allow the stockpiling of wood chips ON COUNTRY on this property. The Plannin~ Commission has recommended approval. DRIVE There was no one present wishin~ to comment on this matter. Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Pedersen, the public hearing was closed. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RE.SOI.UTION NO. 99-12-263 - APPROVING THE REZONING OF CITY PROPERTY ON COUNTRY DRIVE FROM LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (I-1) TO PU137 IC (P) AS WEI I. AS APPROVING A SPECIAI, USE PERMIT TO AI.I.OW THE STOCKPILING OF WOOD CHIPS ON THIS PROPERTY 13ASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PI ANNING COMM/SSION. The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 2000 BUDGET Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the adoption of the 2000 Budget and certification of tax levy. It was noted that the City held its Truth In Taxation hearing on December 2, 1999 and that this hearing is currently being rebroadcast on the City's cable TV channel. Council further noted that the 2000 net levy will decrease by $102,000 from the 1999 net levy that is a decrease of 82%. The 2000 net levy is proposed at $1,142,646. There was no one from the general public present wishin~ to comment on this matter. Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was closed.
