MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JULY 99 2025
Kwapick accepted that friendly amendment.
Gutierrez asked for clarification on condition five.
The Community Development Director stated that the two time slots are provided to match the
application request, but the limit would be two hours per day.
Mayor Fischer stated that perhaps the maximum of two hours should be deleted, and it just read
once per day.
Kwapick accepted that as a friendly amendment.
Malone referenced the parking and asked that the condition be expanded to read any
surrounding streets rather than just Edgerton and Schletty.
Mayor Fischer clarified that parking would either take place on the subject property or at City
Hall.
The City Attorney suggested the language that parking shall only occur on the property or a
public parking lot.
Malone referenced condition 11, noting that two points of contact should be provided, one
being the homeowner and the other being a representative of the club.
Mayor Fischer asked for clarification from the City Attorney. The City Attorney stated that
ultimately, if there are problems or code enforcement issues, that falls to the homeowner. She
confirmed that a coach or member of the club could be added as a secondary contact.
Kwapick stated that he would agree to add a coach or member of the club as a second contact.
Malone asked if the limit of six days per week should be listed.
Mayor Fischer commented that the allowed dates are Monday through Saturday, which is six
days per week. He stated that the additional language could be added to condition five to state
Monday through Saturday.
Kwapick agreed with that addition.
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez.
Ayes (3). Nays (2) (Fischer and Malone). Resolution declared adopted.
Mayor Fischer briefly recessed the meeting.
Mayor Fischer reconvened the meeting.
0
