STAFF REPORT <br />TO:Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br />FROM:Heidi Heller, City Clerk/HR Manager <br />DATE:June 23, 2025 <br />RE:Appointment of Bryce Shearen as City Administrator and Treasurer <br />ACTION TO BE CONSIDERED <br />Appoint Bryce Shearen as new City Administrator and Treasurer per City Code Section 211. <br />BACKGROUND <br />On May 28, 2025, the City Council approved the City Administrator employment contract for <br />Bryce Shearen. City Code Section 211, City Administration, defines the city administrator <br />duties and responsibilities, including that this position acts as the Treasurer. Sec 211.050 states <br />that the Administrator shall be appointed by the City Council. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Appoint Bryce Shearen as City Administrator and Treasurer.
