MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> AUGUST 12, 2009 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br /> Council of I:,ittle Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 12th day of <br /> August, 2009 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m, and the <br /> following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br /> CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br /> Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss <br /> Council Member Mr. John Keis <br /> Council Member Mr. Michael McGraw <br /> Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br /> ALSO PRF,SENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br /> City Engineer Mr. Lee F.,lfering <br /> Cable "fV Prod. Mr. Kevin Helander <br /> City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br /> <br /> MINU'ITS Ms. Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2009-8-187 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br /> THE JULY 22, 2009 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AND THE <br /> JULY 27, 2009 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> CANADIAN Mayor Blesener announced that this year's Canadian Days Celebration <br /> DAYS was very successful, and he thanked the Canadian Days Committee as <br /> well as City staff for their efforts. <br /> VALENTO Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the improvement <br /> LANE - of Valento Lane, fi•om Allen Avenue south to LaBore Road, by <br /> IMP. NO. bituminous mill and overlay and minor curb and gutter replacement. <br /> 2009-15 <br /> The City Engineer reviewed the project history as well as existing road <br /> conditions and noted that based on those conditions a mill and overlay is <br /> being proposed to re-establish the street crown. The Engineer reported <br /> that this is the first time that improvements have been proposed for this <br /> <br />
