SCHIFSKY FOR 2009 IMPROVEMENTS IN THEAMOUNT OF <br /> $456,141.26 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> CVS The City Clerk reported that CVS Pharmacy is planning to open on <br /> PHARMACY September 20, 2009 and have applied for a Tobacco License. It was <br /> TOBACCO noted that the application is in order, and staff recommends approval. <br /> LICENSE <br /> Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2009-8-193 - APPROVING A TOBACCO <br /> LICENSE FOR CVS PHARMACY FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD <br /> SEPTEMBER 20, 2009 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2010 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> NI;XSTAR The City Clerk reported in 2008 the Council approved an Exempt Permit <br /> LEGACY to Conduct a Raffle for the Nexstar Legacy Foundation. The drawing for <br /> FOUNDATION the raffle was to occur this summer. Uiven slow ticket sales, Nexstar is <br /> requesting an extension of up to one year to conduct the raffle. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOL UTION NO. 2009-8-194 -GRANTING NEXSTAR LEGACY <br /> FOUNDATION UNTIL AUGUST IZ, 2010 TO CONDUCT THEIR <br /> RAFFLE AS REQ UESTED <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McCraw. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0).
