surface water management plan. <br />I. Bicycle Parking <br /> Bicycle parking is required in order to encourage utilitarian riding. <br />1. A minimum of two (2) bicycle parking spaces shall be provided for each applicable <br />development. <br />2. Exterior bicycle parking shall be located near the principal building entrance, positioned to avoid <br />conflicts with pedestrian routes, and visible from the public right-of-way or from inside the <br />building. <br />3. This requirement applies to the following uses <br />a. Businesses along arterial roadways; <br />b. Retail buildings over 10,000 square feet; <br />c. Office or industrial buildings over 20,000 square feet; <br />d. Convenience stores; <br />e. Restaurants, bars, and breweries. <br />f. Any commercial development adjacent to a public sidewalk or trail. <br />4. Bicycle parking facilities shall include secure locking hardware such as U-racks or other devices <br />approved by the City. <br />5. Multifamily housing Bicycle Parking Requirements <br />a. A minimum of two (2) short-term bicycle parking spaces shall be provided for buildings <br />with four (4) or more dwelling units. <br />b. For buildings with more than twelve (12) dwelling units, a minimum of one (1) long-term <br />bicycle parking space shall be provided for every four (4) dwelling units. Long-term <br />parking shall be located indoors or within a secure, covered structure designated for <br />resident use. <br />c.
