MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA AUGUST 26, 2009 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 26th day of August, 2009 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bi11 Blesener Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss Council Member Mr. John Keis Council Member Mr. Michael Mc('naw Council Member Mr. Rick Montour ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman Cable TV Prod. Ms. Vanessa Van Alstine City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer MINUTES Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2009-8-196 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THEAUGUST 4, 2009 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING, THE AUGUST 9, 2009 CLOSED COUNCIL MEETING, THEAUGUST 12, 2009 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND THEAUGUST 12, 2009 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CUP- Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the request for 2221 Conditional Use Permit allowing two garages (one attached and one McMENEMY detached) totaling 1,500 square feet made by Duane Dahlstrom at 2221 ROAD - McMenemy Road. Blesener noted that the City Planner and the Planning DAHLSTI2OM Commission recommended approval subject to compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner. The City Plamrer reported that there is currently a detached garage on the Dahlstrom property. Mr. Dahlstrom is proposing to construct an attached garage as well as shop area. The total garage space would be 1,500, and the Planner noted that the shop area would not be included in the garage
