<br /> MINUTES <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUGUST 26, 2009 <br /> There was no one else present from the general public wishing to <br /> comment on this matter. <br /> Upon motion by Keis, seconded by McCraw, the public hearing was <br /> closed. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTIONNO. 2009-8-200 -APPROVING THE ORDINANCE <br /> AMENDMENT TO SINGLE-FAMILYRESIDENTIAL (R-1) <br /> DISTRICT CLARIFYING LOT STANDARDS FOR EXISTING LOTS <br /> OF RECORD AND SIMPLE SUBDIVISIONS AND APPROVING <br /> THE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO THE SUBDIVISION CODE <br /> FURTHER DEFINING THE TERM "SIMPLE SUBDIVISION" <br /> T'he foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> CONSENT Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> AGENDA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2009-8-201-APPROVING THE CONSENT <br /> AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br /> ~•APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br /> *CERTIFICATION OF DELINQUENT DEVELOPER DEPOSITS AS <br /> RECOMMENDED BYCITYSTAFF <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> COMP PLAN The City Planner reported that the Mayor, City Administrator, and he <br /> UPDATE met with representatives of The Metropolitan Council and the City's <br /> Comprehensive Plan update to discuss the conflict between the City's and <br /> the Met Council's housing projections. At that meeting a compromise was <br /> reached wherein the City would designate the potential for an additional <br /> 275 housing units by including the possibility of mixed use development <br /> in commercial areas of the City. The City Planner reported that his office <br /> is making changes to the Comp Plan update to reflect this increase, and the <br /> City Engineer will need to make modifications relative to sewer flows and <br /> other utility issues. <br /> 8 <br /> <br />
