<br /> MINUTES <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUGUST 26, 2009 <br /> HOM The City Administrator reported that Hom Furniture has decided to <br /> FURNITURE retain their property on Country Drive and to redevelop the site into <br /> INTERIM a Ilom Furniture store/multi-use site when the economy improves. In the <br /> SIGN meantime, Hom is requesting to renew their Interim Signage Plan for an <br /> PLAN additional year so that they can hold periodic sales events at this location. <br /> Keis asked if the temporary Signage would identify Hom Furniture. The <br /> City Administrator reviewed the proposed temporary signage diagrams <br /> noting that the Hom Furniture name is not shown. The Administrator also <br /> pointed out that the signage will be put up and removed throughout the <br /> year as sales events occur. <br /> Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOL UTION NO. 2009-8-202 -EXTENDING THE HOM <br /> FURNITURE INTERIM SIGNAGE PLANAS OUTLINED BY THE <br /> CITYADMINISTRATOR INHIS REPORT DATED AUGUST 20, 2009 <br /> THROUGH SEPTEMBER I5, 2010 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> NOVEMBER The City Clerk recommended changes to the City Council's November <br /> COUNCIL meeting schedule given the first meeting falls on Veterans' Day and the <br /> MEETING second is the evening before Thanksgiving Day. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2009-8-203 -CHANGING THE NOVEMBER <br /> COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE, CANCELLING THE <br /> NOVEMBER Il AND 25, 2009 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> AND RESCHEDULING THOSE MEETINGS TO MONDAY, <br /> NOVEMBER 9, 2009 AND MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2009 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0).
