Resolution declared adopted. <br /> 2010 GOAL The City Administrator noted that the Council typically holds a goal <br /> SETTING setting session each February. He indicated that Mark Nagel is available <br /> SESSION to facilitate a 2010 Session the week of February 151. The Administrator <br /> recommended the session be scheduled for Wednesday, February 3, 2010 <br /> beginning at 4:30 p.m. <br /> The Council discussed the need for a session in 2010, and the general <br /> consensus was to proceed, noting that 2009 Goal progress will be <br /> reviewed as well as new goals considered. <br /> Mr. Blesener inri~oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTIONNO. 2010-1-13 - CALLINGA GOAL SETTING <br /> WORKSHOP FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2010 AT 4:30 P.M. <br /> AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITYADMINISTRATOR <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> AUTHORIZE The City Administrator reported that the proposed Preliminary Plat for <br /> APPRAISALS- Gervais Woods will be considered at tomorrow evening's Planning <br /> INFRA- Conmiission meeting. The Administrator reported that, as a result, it <br /> STRUCTURE is necessary to make provisions for the connection of water and sanitary <br /> CONNECTIONS sewer from its current termination off of Kohlman Lane north of Beam <br /> TO GERVAIS Avenue to the proposed Gervais Woods. The first step in this process is <br /> WOODS to obtain appraisals of the two properties that these connections will need <br /> to run through. The Administrator noted that by running these <br /> infrastructure connections it will be possible to eliminate the need for lift <br /> stations in the Gervais Woods development and possibly in subsequent <br /> development of the Sculley and Johnson properties. <br /> The Administrator reported that he has obtained quotes for the appraisal <br /> work, and Blake Davis is low at $2,000 per property. Blake Davis was <br /> recommended by the City Attorney. <br /> The Administrator reported that the Gervais Woods developer will <br /> advance the cost of the appraisal work, with those costs being credited <br /> back toward his contribution for lift station avoidance. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> 8 <br /> <br />
