MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> JANUARY 25, 2010 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting oi'the City <br /> Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 25th day of <br /> January, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the <br /> following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br /> CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br /> Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss <br /> Council Member Mr. John Keis <br /> Cowicil Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br /> Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br /> City Engineer Mr. Lee F',Ifering <br /> City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br /> <br /> IMPROVEMENT Mayor Blesener reported that the purpose of this evening's special <br /> HEARINGS meeting is to conduct improvement hearings for the following: <br /> Imp. No. 2010-01 & 02 -Bryan Avenue/Jackson Street (Little <br /> Canada Road to Maple Lane) by street reconstruction, concrete <br /> curb and gutter, and drainage improvements; <br /> Imp. No. 201.0-04 -Iona Lane by street reconstruction, concrete <br /> curb and gutter, and drainage enhancements; <br /> Imp. No. 2010-06 - Schletty Drive (north of Little Canada Road) <br /> by mill and overlay of bituminous surface as well as concrete curb <br /> and gutter repair and/or replacement. <br /> BRYAN AVENUE Mayor Blesener opened the public hearing to calsider the improvement of <br /> & JACKSON Bryau Avenue as well as Jackson Street (fiom Little Canada Koad to <br /> STREET Maple Lane) by street reconstruction, concrete curb and gutter, and <br /> drainage improvements. <br /> The City Engineer reviewed the project history detailing the poor <br /> condition of Jackson Street and Bryan Stteet. He noted that there is 55 <br /> feet ofright-of--way for Jackson Street and the current pavement width <br /> varies from 32 feet at the north end down to 24 feet. There is 40 feet of <br /> right-of=way for Bryan Street and the existing pavement width is 20 feet. <br /> All properties are served by both watermain and sanitary sewer. With <br /> <br />
