Resolution declared adopted. <br /> CALL FOR The City Clerk reviewed her report dated January 27, 2010 recommending <br /> PUBLIC that the Council call a public hearing for March 24, 2010 to consider an <br /> HEARING increase on the On-Sale Liquor License Pee a~~d the On-Sale Wine <br /> LIQUOR Pee in an amount equivalent to the gross levy increase of 3.41 The <br /> LICENSE Clerk noted that this proposed increase is based on a five-year policy <br /> FEE INCREASE adopted by the Counci] in .Tune of 2006, and 2010 would be the last year <br /> of this policy. <br /> The Clerk further noted that On-Sale Sunday, Consumption & Display, <br /> and Off-Sale Liquor License fees are regulated by State Statute, and the <br /> City is at the maximum it can charge for these fees. Staff is not proposing <br /> an increase in the 2 a.m. Liquor License, On-Sale or Off-Sale 3.2 <br /> Intoxicating Malt Liquor Licenses. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOL UTION NO. 2010-2-35 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING <br /> FOR WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24, 2010 AT 7:30 P.M. TO CONSIDER <br /> AN INCREASE IN ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE FEE AND ON- <br /> SALE WINE LICENSE FEE <br /> T'he foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montow~. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> ALCOHOL The City Administrator presented to the Council additional information <br /> & relative to alcohol and tobacco fines as requested at the last Cowicil <br /> TOBACCO meeting. In comparing these fines to those being charged by surrounding <br /> FINE cities, the Administrator indicated that it appears Little Canada has higher <br /> SURVEY tobacco violation fines and has more lenient alcohol violation fines. <br /> RESULTS <br /> 2 <br /> <br />
