<br /> MINUTES <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> FEBRUARY 10, 2010 <br /> of the rankings of the goals, attention will be given to each individual goal <br /> and efforts made to work toward completion. <br /> The Council reviewed the goals list in detail and utilizing the criteria of a <br /> goal having three votes of elected officials, plus top rankings by non- <br /> elected participants, the following goals were rating has having highest <br /> priority: <br /> Continue to move forward with new Public Works Garage; <br /> Pursue shared multi-family patrol position; <br /> Fstablish long-term funding plan for fire truck replacement; <br /> Develop Animal Control Policy; <br /> Evaluate/implement video surveillance program to enhance crime <br /> prevention efforts/other possible uses; <br /> Complete streetscape plan for Little Canada Road; <br /> Develop fee schedule for fire re-inspections; <br /> Pursue funding for reconstruction of Rice Street Bridge at 694. <br /> It was noted that the Highway 36/Rice Street project is far along in the <br /> planning process and that this will only require some continued <br /> monitoring. 1•herefore, it will not be listed in the goal adoption program. <br /> There was some discussion relative to other goals on the listing and again <br /> it was noted that the Council and Staff will work toward completion of a <br /> number of the other goals identified. The City Administrator reported that <br /> he will develop action plans for the top goals identified for presentation to <br /> the Council for review and comment. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-2-38 -ADOPTING THE RESULTS OF THE <br /> 2010 GOAL SETTING SESSION WITH TOP PRIORITY GIVEN TO <br /> THE GOALS LISTED ABOVE <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> THUNDER The Council continued it's discussed relative to the Park & Recreation <br /> BAY PARK Commission's recommendation for upgrades to Thwider Bay Park which <br /> PLAYGROUND began at the workshop meeting immediately preceding this evening's <br /> UPGRADES regular meeting. The Administrator noted that the recommendation <br /> includes the replacement of the wooden play st<•ucture as well as addition <br /> of a half basketball court and some trail modifications. The Administrator <br /> reported that there is the strong likelihood that the Little Canada <br /> 6 <br /> <br />
