MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> MARCH 8, 201.0 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br /> Council of Little Catlada, Minnesota was convened on the 8th day of <br /> March, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Acting Mayor Rick Montour called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br /> the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br /> CITY COUNCIL: Acting Mayor Mr. Rick Montom~ <br /> Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss <br /> Council Member Mr. John Keis <br /> Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Mr. Bill Bleseuer <br /> ALSO PRESI?NT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br /> Finance Director Ms. Shelly Rueckcrt <br /> Cable TV Producer Mr. Kevin Helauder <br /> City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br /> <br /> MINUTES Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-3-49 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br /> THE FEBRUARY24, ZOIOREGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br /> SUBMITTED <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br /> Ayes (4). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br /> 2010 Acting Mayor Montour announced that 2010 Census forms should be <br /> CENSUS received by residents March I5-17, 2010. He stressed the importance of <br /> completing the Census form and returning it so that an accurate population <br /> count can be obtained. Montour noted that there is the possibility that <br /> Minnesota may lose a seat in Congress based on the results of the Census. <br /> Millions of dollars in Federal funds are at stake, so it is critical to get as <br /> accurate a count as possible. Montour indicated that the Census Bureau <br /> estimates it will take 10 minutes to complete the 10 questions on the <br /> Census form. <br /> <br />
