MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> MARCH 24, 2010 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br /> Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 24th day of <br /> March, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Acting Mayor Rick Montour called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br /> the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br /> CITY COUNCIL: Acting Mayor Mr. Rick Montour <br /> Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss <br /> Council Member Mr. John Keis <br /> Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br /> ALSO PRBS>?NT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br /> City Attorney Mr. Trevor Oliver <br /> City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman <br /> Cable TV Producer Mr. Kevin Ilelander <br /> City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glaiver <br /> <br /> MINUTES Ms. Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-3-58 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br /> THE MARCH 8, 2010 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND THE <br /> MARCH 8, 2010 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br /> 'The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br /> Ayes (4). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br /> 2010 Acting Mayor Montour announced that 2010 Census forms have been <br /> CENSUS mailed and urged residents to return them as soon as possible. He stressed <br /> the importance of completing the Census form and returning it so that a<i <br /> accurate population count can be obtained. Montour noted that there is the <br /> possibility that Minnesota may lose a seat in Congress based on the results <br /> of the Census. Millions of dollars in Federal funds are at stake, so it is <br /> critical to get as accurate a count as possible. If a resident needs a <br /> replacement form, one can be requested by calling 866-872-6868. <br /> Residents can also visit the US Census website or the City's website at <br /> www.ci.little-c~uiada.mn.us. <br /> <br />
