MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> APRIL 8, 20].0 <br /> Pursuairt to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br /> Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of <br /> April, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br /> following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br /> Mr. Scott Barraclough <br /> Mr. Tom Duray <br /> Mr. Michael Everson <br /> Mr. Tom Fischer <br /> Mr. Jon Hall <br /> Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br /> Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable TV <br /> Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br /> <br /> MINUTES The March 11, 2010 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br /> approved as submitted. <br /> CUP - Mr. David Schwietz, 620 Keller Parkway, appeared before the <br /> 620 KELLER Commission requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to <br /> PARKWAY - allow the replacement of an existing garage with a new garage <br /> SCHWIETZ consisting of up to 1,500 square feet. Schwietz noted that he had appeared <br /> before the Commission about 1 '/z years ago relative to a similar request <br /> that consisting of having two garages. However, given the need for <br /> pylings on this property, it is more cost effective to have just one garage. <br /> Schwietz described the existing house which has a flat roof design. <br /> Schwietz indicated his plans to replace the existing house within the next 5 <br /> to 7 years; therefore, the design of the proposed garage will work with the <br /> existing house, yet will compliment the future house. Schwietz noted that <br /> the lower level of the proposed garage will be for vehicle parking and the <br /> upper level will be for storage. There will be no living space in this upper <br /> <br />
