MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> LITTLE CANAllA, MINNESOTA <br /> June 3, 201.0 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br /> Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of June, <br /> 2010, in the council chambers of the city center located at 515 Little Canada Road East in <br /> said city. <br /> Chair Linda Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of <br /> the commission were present: <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Ms. Linda Fahey, Chair <br /> Ms. Ruth Steinwall <br /> Ms. Patti Sullivan <br /> Ms. Katie Lolmaugh <br /> Mr. Dan Slain <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Tom Maida <br /> Mr. Kevin Steinert <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Bill Sanders, Park Consultant <br /> Mr. James Morelau, Park & Recreation Director <br /> Ms. Dotty Norgard, Recording Secretary <br /> <br /> MINUTES Slain made a motion to accept the minutes from the May 6, 2010 meeting, seconded by <br /> Lolmaugh. Motion carried. <br /> NEW <br /> BUSINESS I'HALEN TRAIL GROUP MEETING <br /> Sullivan reported they had a meeting on May 20`" with approximately eighty people in the <br /> task force in attendance, including members of the St. Paul City Council and Corp of <br /> Engineers. "fhere were ten easels with maps and planning information for the trail system. <br /> There was a presentation given with a question and answer session following. Many Lake <br /> Phalen residents in attendance were concerned about the water quality and the safety around <br /> the park It was suggested to install cameras. <br /> June 10`x' was set for the next meeting, with two additional meetings to be held beyond that <br /> date. All task force members were asked to agree or disagree with issues on a questiomzaire. <br /> They will gather that iuformation for the next meeting. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br />
