MINUTrS <br /> <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> JULY 15, 2010 <br /> AT THE TIME THE WAREHOUSE ADDITIONS ARE <br /> CONSTRUCTED <br /> Motion seconded by Fischer. <br /> Motion carried 7 - 0. <br /> Mr. Duray recommended approval of the Amendment to PUD Permit for <br /> the interim outdoor storage of construction materials for anon-resident <br /> tenazrt at 3213 Country Drive as requested by Carl Johnson, Drywall <br /> Supply, subject to the following: <br /> • Compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner as <br /> outlined in his July 14, 2010 report; <br /> • That the outdoor storage area is completely screened from view of <br /> surrounding properties; <br /> • That the outdoor storage is allowed at a maximum height of 9.5 <br /> feet; <br /> • That the outdoor storage materials are neatly stacked and consist of <br /> lumber items; <br /> • I"hat the outdoor storage regulations of the I-1 District will apply <br /> and the property owner will be required to obtain an annual <br /> outdoor storage license; <br /> • "that the outdoor storage interim use would be for a maximum term <br /> of five years or the length of the Lease agreement with Maple <br /> Grove Pallet, whichever is less; <br /> and that the Commission finds that the fact that Mr. Johnson will take <br /> ownership of a portion of this outdoor storage product supports the <br /> allowance of this outdoor storage use on his property. <br /> Motion seconded by Pechmann. <br /> Motion carried 5 - 2. Knudsen and Everson voted against. <br /> Knudsen stated that while he is sympathetic to the business owner he <br /> voted against as this is not the direction that the City has been going with <br /> outdoor storage.
