Resolution declared adopted. <br /> DRYWALL The City Planner reported that Drywall Supply has applied for <br /> SUPPLY PUD Permits relative to outdoor storage and building expansion, and a <br /> special meeting of the Planning Commission will be held Thursday, .iuly <br /> I S°' with the matter coming before the Council at its July 28 meeting. <br /> ALCOHOL The City Administrator reported that based on previous Council <br /> FINE discussion relative to fines for alcohol violations and the City Attorney's <br /> POLICY recommendation that rather than amending the Alcohol Ordinance, a Fine <br /> Policy be adopted, City staff is submitting a policy for Council review and <br /> action. This policy is based on that used by the City of Maplewood and is <br /> as follows: <br /> 151 Violation $500 Fine <br /> 2"~ Violation $1,000 Fine <br /> 3`d Violation $2,000 Fine <br /> 4°i Violation License Revocation <br /> `Violation levels would be determined based on a 36-month <br /> Look-back period. <br /> 'fhe City Administrator noted the City Attorney's position that a Pine <br /> Policy gives the City Council flexibility to consider mitigating <br /> circumstances relative to the violation. <br /> Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-7-767 -ADOPTING THE ALCOHOL <br /> VIOLATION FINE POLICY AS OUTLINED BY CITY STAFF <br /> '1 he foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> NUISANCE The City Administrator reported on a long grass and debris nuisance <br /> ABATEMENT- at 253) Morrison Avenue, and recommended authorization to proceed <br /> 2539 with abatement.
