<br /> MINUTES <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> JULY 14, 2010 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-7-168 -AUTHORIZING NUISANCE <br /> ABATEMENT AT 2539 MORRISONAVENUE AS RECOMMENDED <br /> BY THE CITY STAFF <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> ROSEVILLE The City Administrator reported that as part of the City's purchase of the <br /> PLUMBING Roseville Plumbing property, the City was allowing Roseville Plumbing to <br /> OCCUPANCY occupy the property until August 1, 2010. They have requested an <br /> AGREEMENT extension to September 1, 2010. The Administrator noted that given that <br /> the City has no immediate need for the property, there would be no reason <br /> not to allow the occupancy for another month. However, property taxes <br /> would need to be pro-rated accordingly. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-7--169 -AMENDING THE ROSEVILLE <br /> PLUMBING OCCUPANCYAGREEMENT TOALLOW FOR THEIR <br /> OCCUPANCY OF THE PROPERTYAT 167 SOUTH OWASSO BLVD. <br /> UNTIL SEPTEMBER 1, 2010 AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br /> ADMINISTRATOR <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> VALOR The City Administrator reported that the City Attorney has requested <br /> TRIAL authorization to attend the Valor trial which will be held in early August. <br /> The Administrator noted that the League of MN Cities is representing the <br /> City in this litigation. The attendance by the City Attorney would be at <br /> the City's cost. The City Administrator suggested that there may be <br /> benefit to the City from the City Attorney's attendance. The <br /> Administrator estimated the cost at $1,600 to $2,000 if the trial were to <br /> last two days. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOL UTION NO. 2010-7--170 -AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> ATTORNEY'SATTENDANCEAT THE VALOR TRIAL <br /> 8 <br /> <br />
