<br /> General Project Description <br /> <br /> Consistent with the initial t9g2 Planned Unit Development (PUD), and the subsequent PUD amendments in zoos and zoo9, <br /> <br /> the following PUD amendment proposes to add a parking ramp on the existing Woodridge Campus to facilitate St Jude's <br /> <br /> growth. In addition to the proposed 3level parking ramp thatwill replace an existing surface parking lot, a dedicated service <br /> drive is being proposed to separate employee traffic From service vehicles. <br /> Campus Master Ptan <br /> The Stlude Medical Woodridge Campus was first established in t99z and included a 65,000 square foot office, laboratory, <br /> and manufacturingbuildingwith associated parl<ingon a zµ.7-acre campus. The campuswas planned at thattimethrough <br /> a PUD process thatanticipated future phasesto accommodate St. Jude's growing business. In zoos, an 86,000 square foot <br /> office building with associated surface parking was added, with provisions for additional9o,o0o square foot office building <br /> expansion. In zoo9, associated parking areas were added to accommodate St Jude Medical's continued growth. <br /> Stlude has continued to grow since t99z and is in need of more parking space to accommodate existing uses and provide for <br /> potential future uses. The existing z6.8-acre campus has a total of t46,oo0 occupiable square Feetof building (unchanged <br /> bythis PUD Amendment) and associated surface parking. As par[ofthis PUD application the campus is now being planned <br /> to accommodate 850 parking spaces through existing surface parking lots and the proposed three level ramp, of which <br /> there are two structured levels. <br /> The Campus is envisioned as a quality worl<environmentthat expresses the Corporation's commitment to its employees, <br /> its customers, and the community. The parking structure will tie into the campus' common palate of brick, glass, wood and <br /> metal panels, and pre[ast concrete, with an emphasis placed on quality landscaping and the preservation of the natural <br /> features on the site such as wetlands, woods, and green space. <br /> The campus is planned to remain naturally landscaped with features such as ponds and woods to occupy the majority of <br /> the land.
