WOODRIDGE CAMPUS
Site Description
The campus is located south and east of State liighway 36 and Rice Street (State Highway q9) in the City of Little Canada
and abuts the north side of County Road B. Access to the campus is from County Road B. Bounded by a railroad on the
west, the existing wooded site contains a "utilized" wetland, while single family residences occurto the south ofthe site
along County Road 6. An infiltration basin was recently constructed by the city in the southwest corner of the site.
Circulation and Access
Current access to the site occurs at two entrance points along County Road B. The main entry is positioned along the
east side of the site. Employees entering the site can be dropped off at the main entrance to the building, or proceed
directly into the parking via a centrally located access road. Anew western entrance is planned to separate shipping
traffic from employee traffic and alleviate congestion.
Site Lighting
Site lightingwill be limited to the vehicular and pedestrian areas. light fixtures will be selected and arranged to minimize
lighting that is visible from the adjacent properties. Additional exterior building illumination is anticipated at the main
entrance locations and as required for exiting.
Parking
The proposed parking structure will be accessed directly from County Road B using the existing employee entrance.
Parking will be accommodated by the existing surface lots and the proposed parking ramp. The lowest level of the
parking ramp will be on grade, and open, utilizing natural ventilation. The two structured levels of parking above will
be precast concrete orcast-in-place concrete with exterior finishes that harmonize with the existing buildingto create a
cohesive campus image.
Service
The primary service dock forthe existing facility is located on the north side ofthe facility, with a secondary dock located
on the northwest side of the building. Both docks are currently accessed From the employee entry along County Road B.
The proposed new service drive will separate the employee traffic from the service traffic. The building's generator and
electrical equipment is located in this area.
PUD Amendment Application for 5[ iude Medical Woodridge Campus Parking Expansion 7
