<br /> MINUTES <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> JULY 28, 2010 <br /> potential projects the City might have. The City Administrator indicated <br /> that he would propose to use T1F funds from the Rice Street District, and <br /> felt that the 5 year balloon limits any impact potential on City projects. <br /> Blesener likened this to legislation allowing for Housing Improvement <br /> Area Districts. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOL UTION NO. 20] 0-7-179 - CALLING A HEARING FOR <br /> AUGUST 25, 2010 TO CONSIDER A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT <br /> LOAN UTILIZING TAX INCREMENT FUND MONIES TO MR. BOB <br /> WAGNER AND AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OFA <br /> FINANCING PLAN FOR THIS LOAN <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> VALOR Mr. James Monge, League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMC1T) <br /> ENTERPRISES attorney, requested that the City go into closed session at the end of its <br /> LITIGATION regular business to discuss the Valor Enterprises litigation settlement <br /> agreement. <br /> OUTDOOR The City Administrator reviewed the Code Enforcement Officer's <br /> STORAGE July 23, 2010 report relative to outdoor storage licensing which includes <br /> LICENSING a list showing the status of all businesses with outdoor storage. Many are <br /> in full compliance with the ordinance, some are close, and some have a <br /> ways to go. Based on discussion and clarification that occurred at the July <br /> 14" Council Workshop Meeting at which outdoor storage was discussed, <br /> staff is requesting a 60-day extension for businesses to be in compliance. <br /> Any businesses still not in compliance by that time will be subject to <br /> additional licensing fees. <br /> Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOL UTION NO. 2010-7-180 - APPROVING A 60-DAY <br /> EXTENSION FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE COMPLIANCE AS WELL <br /> AS THE IMPLEMENTATION OFADDITIONAL LICENSE FEES <br /> FOR ANY B USINESSED STILL NOT IN COMPLIANCE BY THAT <br /> TIME AS RECOMMENDED BY CITYSTAFF <br /> 13 <br /> <br />
