The City Administrator <br /> indicated that Canadian Days does have security present during the house <br /> the event is going on. This is the reason for limiting the hours of sale to <br /> the hours of the Canadian Days event. Montour suggested that perhaps <br /> LCRA should hire their own security, and suggested that this might be an <br /> additional condition for next year's event. <br /> The City Administrator noted that these rules were not a condition of the <br /> liquor license approvals for this year's event, but suggested that they be <br /> part of the license approval in subsequent years. He asked that the <br /> Council ratify the rules before he forwards them to Canadian Days and <br /> LCRA with the request that they abide by them this year. <br /> Council suggested that rules be a condition of approval for all temporary <br /> liquor licenses. "fhe Administrator indicated that as individual license <br /> requests are made, either these rules or an appropriate modification would <br /> he included for Council consideration. <br /> Ms. Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-7-185 -RATIFYING THE LIQUOR SALES <br /> RULES AS PRESENTED BY THE CITYADMINISTRATOR AND <br /> ENCOURAGING CANADIAN DAYS AND LITTLE CANADA <br /> RECREATIONASSOCIATION TOABIDE BYTHESE RULES <br /> DURING THE 2010 CELEBRATION <br /> 'the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0).
