MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 22, 2025 <br />The Assistant City Administrator presented the third quarter status update, providing information on <br />the strategic directions, including delivering dynamic community spaces, creating supportive networks, <br />empowering high performance, and providing transparent communications. <br />The City Administrator noted that this is a small portion of the work that the city staff completes. He <br />reviewed the next steps, noting that the dashboard will continue to be updated every six weeks and <br />quarterly updates will be provided. <br />Acting Mayor Miller stated that the agendas for the Community Building Technical Advisory <br />Committee (TAC) seemed aggressive, but they were able to keep it going and create engagement, <br />noting that it has been great to be involved in that process. He asked for more information on the <br />business directory. <br />The Assistant City Administrator commented that the directory on the website is outdated, and they <br />plan to have that be more updated in the future. She commented that they have shared stories with the <br />Council after business visits, but perhaps they could also present a wrap-up when that is completed. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS AND MEETING UPDATES <br />Kwapick stated that City staff were made aware that the House Capital Investment Committee would <br />be visiting the city on November 12th to review the site proposed for the bonding request. <br />Gutierrez provided an update on the most recent long-range Fire Department planning meeting. <br />Acting Mayor Miller provided an update on the most recent meeting of the Community Building TAC. <br />Malone commented that Representative Peter Fischer hosted a Town Hall Meeting in Little Canada on <br />Monday with people from both Little Canada and Maplewood and provided an update on that meeting. <br />Acting Mayor Miller provided an update on the most recent meeting of the Cable Commission. <br />ADJOURN <br />There being no further.,business, upon motion by Malone, seconded by Gutierrez, the meeting <br />as adjou ed .m. and moved into a closed session meeting. <br />Dave Miller, Acting Mayor <br />Attest: <br />A_� <br />-eid deller, City Clerk <br />El <br />
