MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> LITTLE CANAllA, MINNESOTA <br /> OCTOBER 14, 2010 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br /> Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 14th day of <br /> October, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Vice Chair Tom Duray called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br /> following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. 'I•om Duray <br /> Mr. Scott Barraclough <br /> Mr. Tom Fischer <br /> Mr. Jon Hall <br /> MEMBF,RS ABSENT: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br /> Mr. Chuck Pechmami <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br /> Mr. Kevin I~Ielauder, Cable TV <br /> Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br /> <br /> MINUTES The September 9, 2010 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br /> approved as submitted. <br /> PUD FOR The City Planner reported that Sherman Associates is requesting a <br /> COMPRE- PUD Permit for a Comprehensive Sign Plan for 1'he Village located <br /> HENSIVE at 125 West Little Canada Road. He noted that a Comprehensive Sign <br /> SIGN PLAN - Plan is required for multi-tenant buildings. The Plannor reported that <br /> THE VILLAGE the sign plan submitted includes signage for both current and future <br /> tenants, utilizing both wall signs and a monument sign. For future tenants, <br /> wall space area on the building and signage space on the monument sign <br /> has been designated. If approved at this time, the property owner will not <br /> have to come back for approvals as new tenants occupy the building, <br /> provided the signage stays within the parameters approved. <br /> The City Planner reported that the Comprehensive Sign Plan submitted <br /> meets all Code requirements as well as complies with Architectural <br /> Guidelines. The City Planner recommended approval of the PUD Permit <br /> subject to compliance with the recommendations outlined in his report. <br /> <br />
