MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> NOVEMI3ER 9, 2010 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br /> Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of <br /> November, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br /> 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Vice Chair Tom Duray called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br /> following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Tom Duray <br /> Mr. Scott Barraclough <br /> Mr. Tom Fischer <br /> Mr. Jon Ilan <br /> Mr. Chuck I'echmann <br /> MEMBF,RS ABSENT: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br /> Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable 1'V <br /> Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br /> <br /> MINUTES The October 14, 2010 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br /> approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> AMEND Mr. Reg Plowman, R.J. Marco, appeared before the Commission <br /> <br /> CUP & requesting approval of an Amendment to Conditional Use Permit for <br /> <br /> ARCHITEG minor auto repair as well as Architectural Review for the expansion <br /> <br /> TURAL of the building at 2600 Rice Street to accommodate the growth of <br /> <br /> REVIEW - Vroom Motors. <br /> <br /> 2600 KICE <br /> <br /> STREET - "the City Planner indicated that Vroom Motors is an auto service <br /> <br /> VROOM facility located in the multi-tenant building at 2600 Rice Street. R.J. <br /> <br /> MOTORS Marco, the owner of the building, is proposing a 30 foot addition on the <br /> east side of the building in the area that houses Vroom Motors to provide <br /> additional service area. "Total additional square footage is 1,860 square <br /> feet. R.J. Marco is also extending the parking lot further east to add 8 <br /> additional parking spaces. The Planner indicated that all setbacks are <br /> being met, additional landscaping is being provided at the north and south <br /> corners of the building with more trees being added than will be removed. <br /> <br />
