MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JANUARY 10, 2011
One property owner asked why it is not proposed that the homes on
Reidmond be assessed a share of the outlot assessment. The City
Administrator reported that the recorded document relative to the outlot
provides access for the properties within the Gervais Shores Addition.
The City Administrator noted that there are options relative to the street
assessment for the outlot, and indicated that the Gervais Shores Addition
property owners should discuss the situation and inform the City of their
preference for the handling of this assessment. Desai noted that the area
homeowners' association is more of a social group and not a formal
homeowners' association and does not have the rights of one.
One property owner asked when the plan review meeting would be held.
The City Engineer indicated that he would mail a notification to the
property owners of the date and time of that meeting once the project is
designed.
One property owner asked about driveway replacement. The City
Engineer indicated that property owners could contact the street contractor
for a price, but indicated that a contractor that specializes in driveway
work may be more cost effective.
There was no one else from the general public present wishing to
comment on this matter.
Upon motion by Keis, seconded by McGraw, the public hearing was
closed.
Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -1 -9 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO.
2011 -05, DIANNA LANE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
THIS IMPROVEMENT
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis.
Ayes (5).
Nays (0).
