MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 12, 2011 <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -1 -14 ADOPTING THE 2011 BUDGET <br />FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY: <br />Revenues $0 <br />Expenditures $0 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20.1.1 -1 -15 CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />AND ADJOURNING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY MEETING AS WELL AS RECONVENING THE CITY <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NORTHWEST Jerry Hromatka, Executive Director, Northwest Youth Family <br />YOUTH Services, presented NYFS' annual report to the City Council. Hromatka <br />FAMILY indicated that NYFS is continuing its mission to provide services to <br />SERVICES children in the aged 5 to 18 age group, but noted that children younger <br />than 5 are presenting with mental health problems. Hromatka indicated <br />that in addition to working with the children, NYFS works with the <br />parents and families on these issues. <br />Hromatka reported that the services provided by NYFS include mental <br />health counseling, community services, and day treatment for youth. He <br />then presented a 2009 -2010 service summary breaking down the types of <br />services provided to Little Canada residents. He noted that the City <br />contract amount for 2009 was $14,628 and Little Canada residents <br />received $33,935 in contracted services and $86,775 in non contracted <br />services. The 2010 contract amount was $14,423, with Little Canada <br />residents receiving $24,360 in contracted services and $88,975 in non- <br />contracted services through September, 2010. Final figures are now being <br />put together. Hromatka reported that NYFS is holding the 2011 contract <br />amount at 2010 levels, i.e. $14,423. <br />3 <br />
