MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 12, 2011 <br />MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY; <br />*ADOPTION OF THE 2011 FIRE DEPARTMENT CONTRACT AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />*APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO FALCON HEIGHTS <br />BUILDING OFFICIAL AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY; <br />*APPROVAL OFABATEMENT AGREEMENT, AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY, AND CERTIFYING ABATEMENT OF COSTS TO <br />PROPERTY TAXES FOR 2485 CANABURY DRIVE, UNIT 332; <br />*APPROVAL OF 2010 PAY EQUITY REPORT; <br />*APPROVAL OF TOBACCO LICENSE FOR FORTY THIEVES, 27- <br />49 LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />OUTDOOR The City Administrator reviewed the Code Enforcement Officer's report <br />STORAGE dated January 7, 2011 relative to temporary licensing of outdoor storage <br />LICENSING while the City is working for compliance with property owners. He <br />ORDINANCE indicated that a deficiency was discovered in the Code relative to the <br />option for two 120 -day temporary licenses for those properties needing <br />additional time to bring their site into compliance. The Code Enforcement <br />Officer has prepared a proposed ordinance amendment which corrects this <br />deficiency. The amendment has been reviewed by the City Attorney. <br />Ms. Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -1 -18 ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 823 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY <br />CODE, KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BY CLARIFYING <br />TEMPORARY OUTDOOR STORAGE LICENSING AS PRESENTED <br />BY CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />6 <br />
