MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 26, 2011 <br />(NAC) and the firm WSB Associates. The City Council then continued <br />the Special Meeting to Monday, February 7` at 6:00 p.m., and directed <br />the City Administrator to do additional background checking of the <br />finalists. <br />AERIAL Montour noted that the County recently conducted an aerial survey to <br />DEER count in deer population in Little Canada and adjacent areas of the <br />SURVEY County where this population is concentrated. Montour suggested that the <br />survey be posted on the City's web site. <br />The City Administrator noted that the survey shows that Little Canada still <br />has a high population, pointing out that last year there were 81 deer in the <br />City's northeast quadrant, 40 were taken from that area, and the recent <br />survey counted 61 deer. Blesener noted that the survey showed that the <br />deer population in Little Canada and close surrounding areas went from <br />approximately 110 to 108. <br />The Administrator noted that it will likely be necessary to continue the <br />deer culling program in 2011. <br />SKATING Montour reported that the Little Canada Recreation Association is <br />PARTY sponsoring their annual Children's Skating Party on Saturday, February 5, <br />2011 at the Old Fire Hall from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. <br />ADJOURN Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -1 -32 ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
