Born reported that Fei Xiao
would be the only acupuncturist operating at the business initially.
Another may be added in the future. The business would operate Monday
through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is anticipated that at its busiest,
there would be 8 to 12 clients per day. Appointments would be staggered.
Therefore, there may be 1 to 2 clients waiting while 1 client is receiving
treatment. Born reported that there is ample parking at the site. She also
indicated that the business would not detract from the character of the
neighborhood.
Duray asked what type of license is required for an acupuncturist. Fei
Xiao reported that he is a licensed acupuncturist and that the license is
issued by the State Medical Board. No city license is required.
